MIH Management comprises an entirely remote and distributed team of professionals that provide professional services to a portfolio of general contracting companies and related entities with current operations through Intermountain West and Midwest including management, administrative support, human resources, revenue cycle, accounting, bookkeeping, job costing, treasury management, financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting.

Position Overview

This position is remote-based giving you the flexibility to work from anywhere. Working remotely eliminates the daily commute and allows for a flexible schedule that enables you to maintain a positive work/life balance. We fully implement EOS and collaborate closely as a team through video conferencing and chat. We also meet up from time to time to get to know each other and strengthen team relations.

We are looking for an extremely organized and detail oriented accounting professional that can work directly with our Controller on job costing, revenue recognition, trust management, and other special projects including financial analysis.


  • Minimum 2-5 Years of Accounting Related Job Experience
  • Minimum 2 Years of QuickBooks Online Experience Required
  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Related Field Required
  • Job Costing Experience Required
  • Experience Working with Several Small Businesses Preferred
  • Experience with Square & Intuit Merchant Services Preferred
  • Proficient with G Suite Applications a Plus
  • Excellent Written and Verbal Communication Skills Required
  • Remote Work Experience Preferred
  • Reliable Hi-speed Internet Connection Required
  • Accounts Receivable Experience Required
  • Ability to Quickly Learn New Applications Required
  • Experience with Receipt Bank, Qvinci & AccuLynx a Plus


  • Provide Support to Finance Team Members
  • A/R Management in QuickBooks Online
  • Coding of Square & Intuit Merchant Deposits
  • Trust Management Entries
  • Maintain Trust Ledgers
  • Job Costing & Related Reporting
  • Job Costing Collaboration with Production Team
  • Job Costing Entries in Project Management Software
  • Maintain Multiple QuickBooks Online Files
  • Organize Accounting Records in Google Drive & Box
  • Update Various Google Sheets
  • Promptly Respond to Emails, Phone Calls, and Skype
  • Follow up on Finance Team Member Requests
  • Timely Complete Month-end Close Tasks
  • Attend Team Meetings
  • Implement EOS Best Practices
  • Other Special Projects & Analysis as Necessary
